Iggy Pop will narrate a brand new documentary about historic Egyptian ruler King Tutankhamun, Variety reviews. The movie, titled Tutankhamun: The Final Exhibition, chronicles the archaeological historical past of the king’s tomb, from its discovery in 1922 to the wildly fashionable touring Tutankhamun exhibition that opened in Los Angeles in 2019.
The documentary was produced by Laboratoriorosso and Nexo Digital. Of recruiting Iggy Pop to relate the English model of the movie, Nexo Digital’s Rosella Gioffré advised Selection: “We had been searching for anyone that would give a unique enchantment to the narration of the film, and we considered [Pop] and he accepted.”
Antiquities photographer Sandro Vannini, who seems within the movie and helms Laboratoriorosso, added: “Once we heard his voice for the primary time we mentioned that is the voice. That is what we’d like for this movie. The voice of Iggy Pop is solely unimaginable.” Learn the total story at Variety.
